Vineyard Tour FAQs
I'm booked onto a tour, what time should I arrive?
All tours start with sparkling wine served at 1230. Please arrive at 1220.
How long is a tour of the Vineyard?
The tour at Glyndwr Vineyard lasts approximately two hours and will be finished by 2:30pm. You are welcome to stay for an extra drink after - we usually close at 3pm.
How to find us on the day of your visit?
If you haven't been to the vineyard before, please follow directions, or use Google Maps as the postcode takes you to the wrong end of the village and we can be a little tricky to find!
From the Car Park of the Cross Inn pub you will see a red post box. Our gravel drive is directly opposite.
I have received a Gift Card for a tour. How do I redeem this?
Go to Our Website and select a tour on an available date of your choosing. Please add the number of guests and the start time of 1230. Click 'Book now’.
On the next screen please check the details are correct. If you have a voucher code click ‘’Have a Voucher Code?’ and apply the code. Click 'Proceed to Checkout'.
Next, please enter your personal information as prompted (name, address, email and phone number). If any remaining balance is due please enter your card details. Click ‘Place Order'
Can I purchase wine during my visit to the Vineyard?
Yes. We also have special Tour Day discounts for purchasing 6 or more bottles of wine.
What should I wear when visiting the vineyard?
If its wet please bring suitable footwear and a coat - wellies recommended!
Dietary requirements
If you have any food allergies or are vegetarian then please let us know at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policies
If you notify us more than one week prior to a pre-booked visit that you cannot attend, we will offer you another date of our choice. With less than a weeks notice we cannot, under any circumstances, change the date of your booking. You are welcome to offer the voucher to someone else to take your place so please have someone on standby if you are worried you might not be able to attend on the day.

Can I bring my dog?
We do not allow dogs at the vineyard due to the sheep, chickens and llamas. The llamas are easily spooked by unfamiliar dogs.

Can I get a refund for a gift voucher or direct tour booking?
Within 14 days of purchase, we will give you a full refund if you change your mind or can't find dates that suit you. After 14 days, your voucher/booking is non-refundable.Â
What to do if I can't attend a tour before the expiry date?
Can I leave my car overnight?

Is there public transport to and from the vineyard?
Yes, the X2 bus operates from the West (Porthcawl/Bridgend) and the East (Cardiff). The nearest stop is Claire Garden Village which is a 5 minute walk away. The First Bus timetable can be found here.
How long are vouchers valid for?
The vouchers are valid for 12 months although you are only required to book a date before the expiry date so they are effectively valid for 24 months.
If anyone needs to extend the voucher further we just ask they get in contact before the expiry date.
What happens if it rains?
The tour will go ahead regardless of the weather. We often have guests book a year in advance and celebrate special events like birthdays, anniversaries and engagements so cancelling is not an option.
If it's raining at 1pm (when we'd normally walk around the vineyard) we'll postpone the tour until after lunch.
